Hastelloy C276
Hastelloy C276 is a nickel based corrosion resistant alloy containing about 57% nickel, 16% to 18% molybdenum, and 14.5% to 16.5% chromium, with smaller amounts of tungsten and iron. It resists reducing media such as sulfuric and hydrochloric acid, as well as oxidizing acids, chloride solutions, and organic acids. The source lists continuous service up to 1093℃, together with good toughness and fatigue resistance. Typical uses include chemical reactors, heat exchangers, piping, oil and gas equipment, waste incineration, and wastewater treatment equipment.
