310S Stainless Steel
310S, Chinese grade 06Cr25Ni20, is a high chromium nickel austenitic stainless steel. It contains 24% to 26% chromium, 19% to 22% nickel, and carbon limited to ≤0.08%. The source lists continuous service below 1150℃ and short term exposure up to 1200℃. It resists oxidation, sulfuric and nitric acid, and high temperature sulfides. Its face centered cubic structure supports creep strength and toughness at elevated temperature, while the alloy is described as nonmagnetic and readily weldable.
