Inconel 625
Inconel 625 is a nickel based alloy containing about 61% nickel, 21.5% chromium, 9% molybdenum, and 3.6% niobium. Solid solution strengthening gives it resistance to oxidizing acids, chloride solutions, seawater, organic acids, and stress corrosion cracking. The source lists continuous service up to 1093℃ and stable mechanical performance from -253℃ to 982℃, with fatigue and creep resistance. Applications include aircraft engine parts, gas turbine blades, offshore risers, subsea pipelines, chemical vessels, high pressure valves, and nuclear industry equipment.
