Haynes 230

Haynes230, UNS N06230, is a nickel based high temperature alloy. Nickel forms the balance, with 20% to 24% chromium, 13% to 15% tungsten, 1% to 3% molybdenum, and smaller amounts of aluminum and iron. Solid solution strengthening provides high temperature strength, oxidation resistance, corrosion resistance, and long term thermal stability. The source lists continuous service up to 1149℃, resistance to oxidation and nitridation, a relatively low thermal expansion coefficient, and good workability for complex components used under severe conditions.
