316Ti Stainless Steel
316Ti is a titanium stabilized austenitic stainless steel in the 316 family. It contains 16% to 18% chromium, 10% to 14% nickel, 2% to 3% molybdenum, and titanium at ≥5×C%. Titanium stabilizes carbides and improves resistance to intergranular corrosion, especially after welding or at elevated temperature. The alloy resists sulfuric, phosphoric, and acetic acid, as well as chloride solutions. The source lists continuous service up to 800℃, good toughness and workability, a nonmagnetic austenitic structure, and suitability for chemical, food, and medical equipment.
