GH3128 Nickel Alloy
GH3128 is a nickel based, solid solution strengthened high temperature alloy. Nickel forms the balance, with 19.0% to 22.0% chromium, 9.0% to 11.0% molybdenum, 2.0% to 3.0% tungsten, and smaller additions of boron, cerium, and zirconium. Tungsten and molybdenum provide solid solution strengthening, while the grain boundary additions support creep strength and oxidation resistance. The source compares its overall properties favorably with GH3044 and GH3536 and lists continuous service up to 950℃ for load bearing and oxidation resistant components.
