Inconel 718

Inconel 718 is a nickel based high temperature alloy containing about 53% nickel, 17% to 21% chromium, 18.5% to 21% iron, 4.75% to 5.5% niobium, and 2.8% to 3.3% molybdenum, with smaller amounts of titanium and aluminum. The source reports high strength from -253℃ to 700℃, resistance to seawater, chlorides, and organic acids, plus oxidation and fatigue resistance. These properties support structural parts used under high temperature, pressure, and corrosive conditions in aerospace, energy, and chemical processing.
