18Ni350 Maraging Steel

18Ni350 is an ultra high strength maraging steel containing 18% to 19% nickel, 11% to 12.5% cobalt, 4% to 5% molybdenum, and 1.2% to 1.45% titanium. Carbon is limited to ≤0.03%. Solution treatment forms an ultra low carbon martensitic matrix, while aging produces intermetallic precipitates such as Ni₃Mo and Fe₂Mo. The source lists strength of ≥1500 MPa, high toughness, low distortion, good weldability, impact and fatigue resistance, and a degree of corrosion resistance.
