321H Stainless Steel
321H is a titanium stabilized austenitic stainless steel and the high carbon variant of the 321 series. Titanium improves resistance to intergranular corrosion and high temperature stability for welded, high pressure service. The source describes good performance in oxidizing media such as nitric acid and hot steam, but lower corrosion resistance in chloride environments such as seawater. Its combination of titanium stabilization and higher carbon supports intergranular corrosion resistance, high temperature strength at the 800℃ level, and processing adaptability for petrochemical, energy, and aerospace equipment.
